In late 2014, we launched our inaugural Innovators Awards program in order to celebrate the numerous innovative technologies, products, and systems found in the machine vision and image processing industry.

Our submissions went to a panel of ten third-party judges, who were asked to rate the numerous entries that we received based on originality, applicability and market need. The awards, which are based on the impartial ratings assigned by our judges, will be assigned in four different levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. These will be given out to companies or organizations that demonstrated excellence in a product or technology, an application, or in research and development.

To celebrate the Innovators Awards program, Editor in Chief Andy Wilson and the Vision Systems Design staff will present the awards next Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Automate 2015 in Chicago. Following the presentation, we will publish an informative article, listing our awards and describing their products and technologies.
