This webcast—a first of its kind—will consist of a conversation between system integrator and applications specialist Markus Tarin and Vision Systems Design Editor in Chief Andy Wilson in which the two will discuss the ways that machine vision has been deployed in non-industrial applications for the past 30-plus years.
Machine vision technologies can benefit a wide variety of non-industrial applications such as scientific and medical imaging, and security and surveillance. This webcast will provide additional examples of how off-the-shelf OEM components are being used in such applications, including examples in rapid drug discovery, infectious disease screening, and more.
The webcast will conclude with a question and answer period for the audience.
