The Lumen 100-LED illuminator features a 25,000 hour lifetime and a broad array of LEDs covering wavelengths throughout the visible spectrum for purposes of fluorescence microscopy applications. The system features precise intensity control in 1% increments, up to 11 LEDs, and a range of adapters to connect the Lumen 100-LED to most upright and inverted microscopes currently on the market. Directly coupled to the fluorescence port to maximize light efficiency, the unit can be further enhanced by the addition of excitation filters to LEDs to further optimize the bandwidth. In addition, the 100-LED illuminator features USB control for OEM integration.
