USB 3.0 camera from Lumenera targets microscopy applications

Lumenera Corporation has announced the release of the INFINITY3-6UR USB 3.0 camera, which is designed for microscopy applications.  

Lumenera Corporation has announced the release of the INFINITY3-6UR USB 3.0 camera, which is designed for microscopy applications. The camera features a 6 MPixel Sony EXview HAD II ICX694 CCD image sensor with a 4.54 µm pixel size that can achieve a frame rate of 27 fps at full resolution. Additional features include a high dynamic range (68.6 dB color, 64.8 dB mono), 6 electron read noise, 2x2 binning, and selectable 8 and 14-bit output modes. In addition, the cameras also come with Lumenera’s INFINITY ANALYZE image capture and analysis software package, which offers camera control, measurement, annotation, multispectral capture and composition, and post capture enhancement. INFINITY3-6UR microscopy cameras are suitable for use in industrial applications that require optimal color reproduction, life sciences, clinical and material science applications.
