Camera Link frame grabbers from BitFlow feature PCIe Gen 2 interface

April 16, 2015
Learn more about BitFlow's sixth generation Camera Link frame grabbers, which are built on the same half-size x8 PCI Express Gen 2.0 Board as the Cyton CXP CoaXPress frame grabber.

Axion-CL, BitFlow’s sixth generation Camera Linkframe grabbers, are built on the same half-size x8 PCI Express Gen 2.0 Board as the Cyton CXP CoaXPress frame grabber. The Camera Link 2.0-compliant Axion-CL supports up to two base, medium, full, or 10-tap cameras and CL clocks up to 85 MHz. Like the Cyton frame grabber, the Axion-CL frame grabbers include the optimized DMA engine, StreamSync acquisition engine and buffer manager, along with its Timing Sequencer, I/O capabilities and Frame Sequence. Integration into a machine vision application is made easier with BitFlow’s software development kit, which supports both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. Furthermore, Axion-CL software is compatible with current BitFlow frame grabbers, making it possible to migrate applications to/from Camera Link, analog, and CoaXPress.
