CoaXPress line scan camera introduced by JAI

April 23, 2015
Check out JAI's latest release: A CoaXPress line scan camera that features a 2048 x 1 CMOS image sensor and is capable of achieving up to an 80 kHz line rate in factory automation inspection applications.

Expanding on its line of Sweep monochromeindustrial line scan cameras, JAI has launched the SW-2000M-CXP-80—a line scan camera that is capable of achieving up to an 80 kHz line rate with longer cable lengths than the original Camera Link version. The camera features a 2048 x 1 CMOS image sensor with a 20 µm pixel size, a scalable resolution with region of interest mode, and two operation modes (high dynamic range mode and responsive mode.) In addition, the CoaXPress interface features 8/10/12-bit output, an Ethernet port for remote control, flat field correction, binning, and reversed readout. The SW-2000M-CXP-80 camera—which is GenICam compliant and features a software development kit—is suitable for use in such applications as web inspection, wafer inspection, semiconductor and electronics inspection, and print inspection.
