Integrated Dewar Cooler assembly targets multiple imaging applications

Read about the latest product from American Infrared Solutions, a SWIR Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA), which features a SWIR infrared focal plane array, and targets  such applications as hyperspectral imaging, commercial/scientific OEM applications, and gimbal systems.    

American Infrared Solutions (AIRS) has announced the release of its mini-Nyx-S 640 SWIR Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA), which features a SWIR infrared focal plane array. The focal plane array is a 640 x 512 mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) detector with a 15 μm pixel size. The IDCA provides a wavelength capability of 0.9 to 2.5 μm, and also features a Camera Link interface, and A/D conversion. The mini-Nyx-S 640 is suitable for use in such applications as hyperspectral imaging, commercial/scientific OEM applications, and gimbal systems.
