The ultra-long range surveillance lens from Special Optics provides continuous motorized zoom for tracking objects at a distance from 0.7 km (0.43 miles) to over 100 km (62 miles).  

The ultra-long range surveillance lens from Special Optics provides continuous motorized zoom for tracking objects at a distance from 0.7 km (0.43 miles) to over 100 km (62 miles). The lens features a field of view of 0.36° to 1.8°, a focal length of 30 to 150 in., and a variable f-number range of 4-14. In addition, the lens features a 100 line pairs/mm resolution and is designed for large format cameras (24 mm diagonal image plane.) The surveillance lens is suitable for use in weapons testing, shuttle tracking, and missile tracking, and additional high-speed events and conditions in locations that are far removed from the observer.
