ADLINK Technology announces partnership agreement with Connect Tech

ADLINK Technology has announced a partnership agreement with Connect Tech for the sale of ADLINK products in off-the-shelf and custom carrier boards for rugged and industrial automation applications throughout North America.

Based in Guelph, ON, Canada, Connect Tech designs and manufactures embedded solutions for industrial markets. Products include PCI, PCI Express, CompactPCI, PC/104, PC/104-Plus, PCI/104-Express and ISA bus compatible boards, and external USB-to-serial and Ethernet-to-serial devices.

"Connect Tech has been providing high quality, cost-effective connectivity solutions for three decades," said Matthias Huber, VP, Marketing of ADLINK Americas. "We are happy to offer our standards-based computer-on-modules and rugged boards as an option for Connect Tech's fully engaged engineering staff to help customers find the right solution for their system requirements."

Michele Kasza, VP, Sales & Marketing at Connect Tech also commented on the partnership.

"ADLINK's extensive portfolio of modules and boards covers the gamut of industry standards and form factors," said Kasza, "The company's extensive pedigree in rugged development helps us boost our offerings when it comes to industrial automation and other applications that require highly reliable functionality in harsh environments."

Connect Tech will provide ADLINK Technology with additional opportunities for off-the-shelf deployments, as well as direct access to their engineering team in order to support customized requirement, while Connect Tech will be able to offer ADLINK products to customers and resellers. As a design partner for ADLINK, Connect Tech will offer a wide range of COTS and custom carrier board designs based on ADLINK's computer-on-modules in COM Express, Qseven, and SMARC form factors.
