USB3 camera from ISG features new Sony IMX250 CMOS image sensor

Learn more about the latest release from Imaging Solutions Group, a LightWise Allegro USB3 camera that features Sony’s new IMX250 CMOS image sensor.

Imaging Solutions Group (ISG) has announced the release of a new LightWise Allegro USB3 camera that features Sony’s new IMX250 CMOS image sensor. The 5 MPixel Sony Pregius sensor is a 2/3” sensor with a 3.45 µm pixel size that can run at up to 100 fps in 12-bit mode or 150 fps in 8-bit mode. The camera, which is available in color or monochrome, features the ISG Image Pipeline, an Altera Cyclone V on-board FPGA, and 256 MB of extra memory. Additionally, the USB3 Vision-compliant cameras feature triggers and strobes, analog and digital gain control, auto exposure, ROI and binning capabilities, and are available with a C-Mount or as a board-level solution.
