CMOS image sensor from Toshiba targets security and surveillance

The latest CMOS image sensor from Toshiba, 2.1 MPixel progressive scan sensor that can achieve a frame rate of 60 fps at full resolution, is designed for security and surveillance cameras, monitor cameras, and driving recorders.  

Featuring a 1/3" format and a 1080p resolution, the TCM3232PB CMOS image sensor from Toshiba Corporation is designed for security and surveillance cameras, monitor cameras, and driving recorders. The 2.1 MPixel progressive scan image sensor features a 2.7 µm pixel size and can achieve a frame rate of 60 fps at full resolution, and 120 fps at VGA. The sensor also features a high dynamic range of 108 dB and utilizes Toshiba’s original color noise correction technology, which provides color-rich images in low light environments. Additionally, the TCM3232PB features lens shading correction and defective pixel correction functions.
