The USBHub2x4 programmable software-controlled USB Hub from Acroname is touted as a solution for testing automation applications and features four USB 2.0 ports, individually-controlled data and power lines, and independent current and voltage measurements. Each of the hub’s ports is capable of delivering 2.5A simultaneously for fastest charging of all four devices. The USBHub2x4 has two upstream ports, which enables multiple devices to be shared between two host computers. With Acroname’s BrainStem technology, the hub can be controlled with simple programming API in C++ and Python on any platform. An embedded microcontroller also enables a programmable delay for enumerating downstream devices, writing your own embedded applications, and even boosting USB data signal levels.
