Schott Moritex Corporation has announced that it has changed its name to Moritex Corporation, effective July 1.

Along with the name change, the company has rolled out a new corporate vision: "Striving for quality and vision technology ahead of market, we will keep on creating Moritex value."

The vision, according to Moritex, means that the company will constantly strive toward market-leading vision technology and quality, and continue to issue new, future-oriented, added-value propositions that bear the distinct signature of the company.

Moritex Corporation will work to increase its enterprise value using the management resources and networks of CITIC Group. The company recently entered into a strategic capital agreement with MV Japan, a member company of CITIC Group, which owns Moritex Corporation.

A current three-year plan for Moritex shows that the company is aiming to achieve further growth by engaging in such business development efforts as expanding shares in the semiconductor and flat panel display markets. Additionally, the company will look to expand in the electronics and automotive markets. Overseas, the company will focus on customer development, specifically in China and other Asian markets, in order to achieve further growth.
