On display at ITE (International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment) 2015 in Yokohama, Japan from December 2-4 will be the Micromate 3X zoom lens system from Navitar, which is designed specifically to work with high resolution 4/3” image sensor cameras. With a large field of view and fixed pupil position, the lens—which is suitable for use in industrial and life science applications—offers a fixed N.A. over the entire zoom range and can be combined with any infinity corrected microscope objectives to achieve magnifications from 1X up to 150X. Additionally, the system’s pupil is located in a fixed position between the objective and zoom module, which allows for the use of a coaxial illumination source, as well as fluorescence, DIC and darkfield imaging.
