SEPTEMBER 12--Mango DSP (Jerusalem, Israel; www.mangodsp.com) has signed an OEM contract with Marconi Medical Systems for the development and production of array-processing systems for Marconi Medical Systems medical-imaging products. The contract value is estimated at $5 million annually.

Under the new agreement, Mango DSP will provide Marconi Medical Systems with a selection of DSP, I/O, and graphical solutions based on high-performance hardware and advanced system solutions. These will allow Marconi Medical Systems to achieve maximal performance for its medical-imaging products.

Mango DSP was founded in 1996 and today numbers more then 40 employees working in the company's headquarters in Jerusalem and in its wholly owned subsidiary in the USA. Marconi Medical Systems, a part of Marconi plc, is a supplier of clinically focused medical-imaging systems, services, and information central to modern patient care.
