OCTOBER 26--StockerYale Inc. (Salem, NH; www.stockeryale.com), a provider of phase masks, specialty optical fiber, and specialized illumination products, has named Francis J. O'Brien executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective October 29, 2001. O'Brien served as director of finance and business development for Analogic Corp., where he was responsible for strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, internal and external reporting, and investor communications.

As executive vice president and CEO, O'Brien will be responsible for all aspects of financial management and planning, including accounting and treasury functions, SEC and corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and investor relations.
