NOVEMBER 15--Braintech Inc. (North Vancouver, BC, Canada; (www.braintech.com) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Oxford Sensor Technologies (London, England) to establish a framework for further developing and integrating vision and sensor-guided robotic solutions for the automotive industry. The agreement specifies a number of clear objectives, from evaluation to deployment, that will take place over the next 22 weeks.

Oxford Sensor Technologies focuses on the development of advanced sensing technologies relating to industrial vision. The company has already been awarded four SMART awards from the UK Department for Trade and Industry for its use of intelligent sensor systems for industrial applications.
