Add RSS FeedLarge order placed for Piranha cameras

DECEMBER 14--DALSA Corporation (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; www.dalsa.com) has received a large order for its high-speed digital-camera products from a major United States-based industrial-automation-system manufacturer. The order is for more than 1000 of the Piranha digital linescan cameras, for a total contract value of more than C$3.8 million.

Cameras will be shipped beginning in December 2001, with the remainder to be shipped at regular intervals through August 2003. The order is the most recent in a long and successful relationship between DALSA and this customer.
