SEPTEMBER 21--For the fourth consecutive year, the PC/104 Embedded Consortium is holding its PC/104 Embedded Design Contest to allow users of the technology to showcase their applications and to recognize those who are designing creative products based on PC/104, PC/104- Plus, PCI-104, or EBX technology. Entries will be judged in three categories: Commercial for Industrial/Medical/Transportation/Other, Commercial for Military/Aerospace, and Research Project.

The winners will be announced at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Jose, CA, in 2006. The winners in each category will be flown to San Jose to attend an awards ceremony in their honor, and their winning projects will be shown at the conference and presented to the press.
