• Software system to record real-time high-speed telemetry data for missile launch
  APRIL 10--Boulder Imaging Inc. (Louisville, CO; www.boulderimaging.com) is providing a digital video recording system to Lockheed Martin (Bethesda, MD; www.missilesandfirecontrol.comm) to test the Army's Line-of-Sight Antitank Weapon System missile.
• Indigo Systems acquires Florida-based engineering group
  APRIL 10--Indigo Systems (Goleta, CA; www.indigosystems.com) has acquired the Applied Technology Division of Control Systems Research Inc. (Crestview, FL; www.csr-fl.com).
• V. J. ElectroniX purchases Teradyne's manual x-ray business
  APRIL 9--V. J. ElectroniX (Bohemia, NY; www.vjelectronix.com) has acquired Teradyne's manual x-ray inspection systems business, part of the former NIS business, and the SRT rework systems business.
• DoubleBW Systems and Eonic Solutions team up
  APRIL 9--DoubleBW Systems BV (Delft, The Netherlands; www.coubleBW.com) and Eonic Solutions GmbH (Ulm, Germany; www.eonic.com) have merged companies and technologies.
• Fakespace Systems merges with Mechdyne Corp.
  APRIL 9--Fakespace Systems (Marshalltown, IA; www.fakespace.com) has finalized its merger with Mechdyne Corp.
• Joint venture targets Camera Link
  APRIL 8--Fastcom Technology SA (Lausanne, Switzerland; www.fastcom.de), a Swiss manufacturer of intelligent CMOS cameras, and Silicon Software GmbH (Mannheim, Germany; www.silicon-software.de) have joined forces to develop a Camera Link-based platform.
• Extreme ultraviolet light source developed
  APRIL 8--XTREME technologies GmbH (Goettingen / Jena, Germany), the nanotechnology joint venture of Lambda Physik AG (Goettingen, Germany; www.lambdaphysik.com) and Jenoptik AG (Jena, Germany; www.jenoptik.com), has shipped the first prototype of an extreme-ultraviolet light source.
• Green Hills Software names director of strategic partnerships
  APRIL 7--Green Hills Software Inc. (Santa Barbara, CA; www.ghs.com), a provider of real-time operating systems and embedded software, has named Charlie Ashton director of strategic partnerships.
• StockerYale lands imaging system order
  APRIL 3--StockerYale Inc. (Salem, NH; www.stockeryale.com) has been awarded a $412,000 order for advanced imaging systems from an Asian company that is involved in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of hard disk drives.
• New lens-testing system developed
  APRIL 3--Wells Research and Development (Lincoln, MA; www.wellsresearch.com), a developer of instrumentation for optical measurement and alignment tasks, has entered into a strategic partnership with Thorlabs Inc. (Newton, NJ; www.thorlabs.com),a manufacturer of optical products for the commercial and research markets.
