• SIA sees 19.8% revenue growth in 2003
  FEBRUARY 10--The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) is predicting that semiconductor revenues will rise 19.8% this year, reaching $169.3 billion.
• Global market for mass storage systems to reach nearly $110 billion by 2007
  FEBRUARY 4--According to a soon-to-be-released report from Business Communications Company Inc. (Norwalk, CT; www.bccresearch.com), prior to 2001 the world demand for mass storage systems produced a market consistently rising in value by 12% or more.
• Global chip sales up 1.3% in recovery year
  FEBRUARY 4--Global semiconductor sales reached $12.5 billion in December 2002, bringing total revenue for the year to $140.7 billion, a 1.3% increase from the 2001 level of $138.9 billion, according to the Semiconductor Industry Association (San Jose, CA; www.sia-online.org).
• IPC restructures exhibition, creates venue to serve entire electronics industry
