• DVT sets record quarter for unit sales
  APRIL 5--The results of first-quarter unit sales of DVT (Duluth, GA; www.dvtsensors.com) machine-vision systems show a dramatic increase of more than 33% over first-quarter 2003.
• FLIR Systems announces order from Northrop Grumman
  MARCH 31--FLIR Systems Inc. (Portland, OR) has received an order for its ThermoVision Sentry infrared camera systems from Northrop Grumman Corporation valued at approximately $7.2 million.
• Robotic Vision Systems gets orders from semiconductor industry
  MARCH 24--The Acuity CiMatrix division of Robotic Vision Systems Inc. (RVSI; Nashua, NH; www.rvsi.com) has received machine-vision orders aggregating more than $500,000 from three customers in the semiconductor and semiconductor capital-equipment industries.
• DVT offers continuing education units for four-day training class

• DiOP names BFi Optilas exclusive European distributor
  MARCH 23--Diversified Optical Products Inc. (DiOP) has announced an agreement with BFi OPTiLAS International (Evry, France; www.bfioptilas.com) for exclusive distribution of DiOP's line of high-performance, cooled thermal-imaging cameras in 13 European countries.
• Authorized thermal-imaging camera-repair center opens

• Cognex achieves preferred supplier status with Ford Motor Company
