  FEBRUARY 13--In conjunction with several leading helicopter manufacturers, CEDIP Infrared Systems, a manufacturer of IR camera systems, has launched a comprehensive airborne IR measurement and image-gathering service.
• LizardTech and Mapping Science announce lawsuit settlement
  FEBRUARY 13--LizardTech Inc. (Seattle, WA; www.lizardtech.com), a designer of software solutions that make it easier to manage, distribute, and access complex digital content, and Mapping Science, a developer of specialized image-compression tools for the GIS and remote-sensing community, have reached a settlement in LizardTech's on-going lawsuit for claims against Mapping Science for misappropriation of trade secrets.
• Symagery image-reading system chosen by Unitech
  FEBRUARY 11--Unitech America (www.ute.com) has selected the Symagery (Ottawa, Canada; www.symagery.com) SX5000 image-reading system as the driving technology behind its new MS360 imaging scanner.

• Flir Systems 4th-quarter profit tops expectations
  FEBRUARY 5--Flir Systems Inc. (www.flir.com) has said its fourth-quarter profit rose 18% as revenue from its imaging and thermography products jumped.
• StockerYale Asia receives largest order to date
  FEBRUARY 5--StockerYale Inc. (Salem, NH; www.stockeryale.com) has announced that its subsidiary, StockerYale Asia PTE Ltd. in Singapore, received an order valued at US$659K for the delivery of an integrated machine-vision system solution that incorporates hardware and software for an imaging management application.
