• JAI announces distribution agreement with Integrys
  FEBRUARY 27--JAI Inc. (San Jose, CA, USA; www.jai.com) has signed a distribution agreement with Integrys Limited (Mississauga, ON, Canada) to act as a channel distributor for its full line of industrial camera products throughout Canada.
• e2v selects Tower Semiconductor as supplier
  FEBRUARY 23--e2v (Chelmsford, UK), a developer and manufacturer of high-technology electronic components and subsystems, has selected Tower Semiconductor (Migdal Ha'Emek, Israel; www.towersemi.com), an independent specialty wafer foundry, as its supplier of choice for its CMOS image-sensor devices.

  FEBRUARY 16--Macon, GA, USA-based B&D Industrial (www.bdindustrial.com) has acquired Simco Technologies, an Atlanta, GA, USA-based distributor (www.simcotech.com).
• StockerYale reports improved quarterly and annual results
  FEBRUARY 16--StockerYale (Salem, NH, USA; www.stockeryale.com) has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2006.
• Trimble acquires INPHO for photogrammetry capabilities
  FEBRUARY 15--Trimble (Sunnyvale, CA, USA; www.trimble.com), a market leader in surveying solutions in industries such as geodesy, civil engineering, and transportation, has acquired privately held INPHO GmbH (Stuttgart, Germany; www.inpho.de), an end-to-end photogrammetry solutions supplier, in an all-cash transaction.
• DataLase announces completion of international financing round
  FEBRUARY 15--DataLase (Widnes, UK, and Norcross, GA, USA), originator of the DataLase process, has just secured $10 million of funding for expansion in the United States.
• MathStar to introduce Certified Design Center program
  FEBRUARY 14--MathStar (Hillsboro, OR, USA; www.mathstar.com), a fabless semiconductor company specializing in high-performance programmable logic, has introduced the Certified Design Center program.
• Adept Technology reports financial results; to rebalance its resources
  FEBRUARY 14--Adept Technology (Livermore, CA, USA; www.adept.com) has announced financial results for its second-quarter FY2007, ended December 30, 2006. The company also announced plans to rebalance its sales and operational resources.
• LumaSense Technologies to acquire Mikron Infrared
  FEBRUARY 12--LumaSense Technologies (Santa Clara, CA, USA; www.lumasenseinc.com), a provider of sensor instrumentation to the industrial, medical, and energy markets, will acquire Mikron Infrared (Oakland, NJ, USA; www.mikroninfrared.com), a provider of IR noncontact temperature measurement and thermal imaging solutions.
