Camera series has lossless compression
FPGA-series of USB cameras has an internal 64-Mbyte buffer that prevents loss of image data and optimizes the use of bandwidth when operating multiple USB components. Lossless compression of the image data is possible in real time. All color cameras operate with 10-bit Bayer converter. For integration of the camera modules into existing applications the company has enhanced the software development kit.

Light is compact
The Brick Light has six high-output, high-current LEDs in a 3-in. housing. It is available in light output of white, red, amber, blue, green, cyan, IR, and UV. Brick Light includes an integrated constant-current driver with a built-in strobe input with option for PNP or NPN trigger control. No need for an external driver to control the light. The integrated driver also includes variable light intensity control. Light can be controlled by a manual potentiometer or a 0--10-Vdc analog signal.

System measures spectral response
Spectral Test and Calibration Station is designed and built to measure or test spectral response at a variety of discrete wavelengths over a designated spectral range. The spectral range is determined by light sources, monochromator design, gratings, detectors, and optical coatings. Delivery of the discrete monochromatic light to an integrating sphere, collimator/telescope, or other relay or instrument optics is determined by user requirements.

Cameras combine frame rates/resolution
Lw570 and Lw575 cost-effective 5-Mpixel CMOS camera series are designed for use in a variety of industrial and scientific applications where high resolution and low-light performance are required. This series offers 7 frames/s at full 2592 ? 1944-pixel resolution, up to 60 frames/s through subwindowing. Other features include high dynamic range, on-board processing, and DirectShow connectivity.

Software functions expand
Scorpion version 6.0 expands the software toolbox with more than 25 tools including integrated 3-D visualization, powerful 3-D reference, seamless 3-D integration, high-performance support for Prosilica GigE and AVT FireWire cameras, and support for Windows XP large memory model, which increases the available size of a Scorpion profile to 2.5 Gbytes.
-
C-mount camera family is modular
The six cameras in the Stingray family are equipped with a fast FireWire IEEE1394b interface and high-end CCD sensors in color and monochrome, with resolutions from VGA up to 2 Mpixels. An optional version has a copper daisy chain connection or 1 x copper combined with 1 x GOF connector (2 x optical fiber on LCLC). The cameras include look-up tables, shading corrections, white balance, and 2X to 8X binning for enhanced photosensitivity.

System inspects randomly oriented cylinders
OmniView uses four cameras to obtain a 360? view of all features on surface of a cylinder. It can read barcodes, verify text, inspect graphics, and measure features at production line speeds up to 1200 parts per minute. It uses images from multiple cameras to create one seamless and undistorted image of any cylindrical surface. OmniView can detect damaged products, check for date-code presence, and confirm package and product match.

Device measures solar-cell quality
The pco.1300 solar camera features increased sensitivity in the near-IR. With quantum efficiency up to 11% at 900 nm, together with an optical longpass filter, the camera captures cell electroluminescence with high sensitivity and accuracy. ROI, binning, cooling, as well as other features of the camera can be selected and optimized to accommodate the user's application. A software-development kit with 32-bit DLL is included.

Panoramic camera monitors security
Panoramic infrared vision system, VIGISCAN, has been designed for surveillance of security perimeters (refineries, power plants, airports, military bases). It includes a sensor head rotating continuously at 1 rotation/s for 360° azimuth coverage. The ultrawide panoramic field of view and continuous monitoring ensure that no event is missed in extremely large areas, total darkness, or fog.
