SmartLine AOI system has extended color technology. Designed as a desktop system for small-volume manufacturing, it can be used as an offline test or repair station. At the core of the system is a camera-based imaging unit featuring a custom telecentric lens, as well as a flexible illumination concept. The camera enables high-contrast recordings, as well as high-resolution color images.

Software removes haze
Image-Pro Plus Version 6.2 scientific image-processing and analysis software offers the ability to remove haze from image stacks with built-in SharpStack image deconvolution tools in addition to enhanced file format support. These built-in tools include real-time 2-D deconvolution, nearest neighbor and no-neighbor deconvolution, and the inverse filter algorithm. The SharpStack deconvolution algorithms, previously available as an add-on module, allow users to remove blur from image stacks.

ThermoVision SC8000 MWIR camera generates more than 1 million pixels in high resolution for a single thermal image. It has an InSb FPA for megapixel image resolution without dithering or stitching and features Gigabit Ethernet, Camera Link Full, and USB interfaces. The SC8000 produces full-window 1024 ? 1024-pixel 14-bit data at 132 frames/s.

Latest additions to the FOculus IEEE1394a CMOS camera line are offered in a compact industrial housing measuring 29 ? 29 ?x 39 mm with C/ CS lens-mount option. FOculus cameras offer fast frame rates at 752 ? 480-pixel through 2048 ?1536-pixel resolution. Partial-scan capability allows user to achieve higher frame rates at lower resolution. All product models are supported by a free FOculus SDK that is activeX compatible. No frame grabber is required.

Smart light comes in sensor housing
Prox Light has one 5-W high-current LED in a 30-mm barrel sensor housing, which is an industry standard M30x1style used for proximity and photoelectric sensors. It includes an integrated constant-current driver with a built-in strobe input with option for PNP or NPN trigger control. Light can be controlled by an internal pot or a 0--10-Vdc analog signal.

The camera offers full 4-Mpixel resolution at 60 frames/s and a global (nonrolling) shutter for smear-free imaging of fast-moving objects. The Falcon 4M60 snapshot mode provides full trigger-to-image reliability, which allows immediate image acquisition based on internal or external trigger events.

TM-2030 Series is a set of four high performance cameras featuring a 16 ? 9 aspect ratio and a full HDTV resolution of 1920 ? 1080 pixels. The cameras have software-selectable operation that allows users to choose between dual-tap mode at 32 frames/s (with automatic channel balancing), or single-tap mode operating at 16 frames/s. TM-2030 series produces low-noise images with a typical signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 57 dB.

It has a long-lasting internal rechargeable battery.
