CCD camera has Gigabit Ethernet interface
GimaGO is a Gigabit Ethernet camera line that offers both with monochrome and color CCD image sensors from 1/3- to 2/3-in. with resolutions from VGA to UXGA. The auto-iris lens control feature supports dc-driven lenses used with the camera series to control the incoming light via the lens iris. Also an opto-isolated trigger input and strobe output are integrated in the 40 ? 40 ? 45-mm GimaGO camera line.

Camera gives sharp thermal images
HotShot HD Portable Infrared Camera is a 640 ? 480-pixel-resolution thermographic camera. It produces IR images that are sharp, making diagnosis of equipment reliability more accurate, intuitive, and precise. HotShot HD is designed for maintenance professionals responsible for inspection of high-voltage electrical systems, production machinery, and building envelopes. The camera includes a laser-highlighting system that permits camera users to easily identify objects on the thermal image.

2-D profiling sensor has built-in display
Model ZG two-dimensional profiling laser sensor completes a full height and width inspection to capture entire shapes by measuring the x and z axis in a single pass in milliseconds. The sensor measures up to four items simultaneously, allowing accurate and stable in-line measurement at full production speed. A real-time profile display on the controller's built-in LCD monitor enables the ZG sensor to both reduce hardware costs and deliver profile data at a cost lower than other solutions.

Servomotor stage features high resolution
DR (dual profile rail) positioning stages are a series of low-cost, stable, linear motor-driven stages with travel lengths to 160 in. These wide-footprint, brushless, linear motor stages have load capabilities of 442 lb, high continuous force, and resolution to 1 µm. The stages are supplied with noncontact, three-phase brushless linear motors commutated either sinusoidally or trapezoidally with Hall effect sensors.

Flexible cables assist machine vision
New flexible cables are for camera-to-frame-grabber connections. The cables mate to industry-standard MDR 26-position camera connections and can be used in applications where the full bandwidth provided by Camera Link cable assemblies is not required. There are three versions: a flexible cable with straight exit thumbscrew backshells; a flexible cable extension, or bulkhead version that allows for extension applications; and a flexible cable, overmolded, right angle cable drop.

Sensor has additional features
BS40 Vision Sensor is compact; camera, optics, illumination, and an analysis module are integrated into a single unit. The sensor has a motorized autofocus function. The working range can be individually defined, and interfering image areas can be suppressed. The sensor is equipped with three convertible outputs and two freely configurable inputs. The color version detects colors reliably and flexibly, and the monochrome version is more sensitive and faster.

Camera series is plug and play
Gigabit Ethernet cameras of the TXG series have data-transfer rates up to 1000 Mbits/s and cable length up to 100 m. The series includes 13 models with resolutions from VGA to 5 Mpixel in monochrome and color versions. These cameras are plug and play with the supplied driver software. The newly developed generic programming interface Baumer-GAPI, bridges the gap to individual software packages.

UV telecentric lenses
TC UV series telecentric lenses, operating in the 365--425-nm range, provide high image contrast at high spatial frequencies and are therefore compatible with the smallest pixel sizes. Used in combination with normal cameras, they can tolerate object displacements (field depth) much larger than VIS lenses before any image defocusing becomes evident. The lenses can work with UV illuminators operating in the 356--420-nm range.

VGA camera has small form factor
The Lm085, the newest addition to the Lm family of small-form-factor cameras, is built over a wide VGA CMOS sensor with 752 x 480-pixel resolution and features a 44 x 44 x 56-mm form factor, robust and durable enclosure, and high sensitivity. A dynamic
range up to 100 dB provides images in high light contrast conditions where blooming in the sensor would typically wash out critical areas. Additional features include an electronic global shutter, fast frame, and an adjustable C or CS-mount.

Imaging system is rugged and reliable
Fastcam SA3, a megapixel, high-speed video imaging system, is designed to withstand high-G and rugged environments. It features 17-µm pixel size for demanding frame rate or low-light applications. The 12-bit CMOS camera system with 2-µs global shuttering is available in two configurations and two memory options (2 and 4 Gbytes). Model 60K performs at 1024 ? 1024 full pixel resolution up to 1000 frames/s and offers reduced resolution up to 60,000 frames/s.
