Hyperspectral sensor is versatile
HyperScan is a pushbroom hyperspectral sensor for both stationary and airborne applications. The system combines an imaging spectrometer, TE-cooled CCD camera, and intelligent control software to give 1.3 nm of spectral resolution in the 400- to 1000-nm range. Additional HyperScan features include spectral binning, ROI control, high-resolution scanning mirror, versatile mounting configurations, and interchangeable apochromatic lenses.

Backlights give high contrast
LT430 backlights deliver high image-processing contrast when inspecting the contours, edges, or openings of a component. They come in seven sizes, ranging from 47 Ã? 59 to 200 Ã? 250 mm. Several of the frameless models provide uninterrupted surface lighting with an edge-to-edge technology feature. Light sources are available in red, green, blue, white, and infrared.

Appliance supports GigE cameras
Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) ready vision appliance, the IPD VA61, comes with two expandable GigE camera ports, industrial I/O, and a high-performance processor. It supports the full range of the company's Genie cameras, from 640 Ã? 480- to 1600 Ã? 1200-pixel resolution, with either monochrome or color output. The VA61 can power and drive cameras locally via dedicated camera I/O connections or interface with them remotely using Ethernet only.

Device controls PXI-based hybrid testing system
3U PXI controller--the PXI-3920 (Intel Pentium M 760)/PXI-3910 (Intel Celeron M 760)--is designed to be the core of a hybrid testing system. It can control bench-top instruments through different interfaces (including LXI, GPIB, USB, and serial) by integrating multiple I/O interfaces. The PXI-3920/3910 incorporates dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, which allows the use of one port for LAN connectivity and the other port for determinative bandwidth and latency for the connection with LXI instruments.

Device targets IEEE 1588 clocks
The IM3240 is for Precision Time Protocol (PTP) IEEE1588 clock synchronization. The IM3240 development kit, DK4-3240, connected to a GPS receiver with a pulse-per-second signal, prototypes a PTP Grand Master clock. All necessary hardware and software are included. The IM3240 module, part of the development kit, embeds a complete software platform including IEEE 1588 protocol, real-time operating system, flash file system, TCP/IP stack, and FTP, and Web server.

Universal vision sensors are easy to use
VOS300 Series vision sensors combine a camera, illumination, digital outputs, process data, and five evaluation methods into a single, rugged sensor housing. Two versions are available--the VOS301 can check a single feature of the target object, and the VOS310 can check up to five unique features, with checks logically linked together to facilitate detection of the complete presence of several details. The sensors provide a 100-mm sensing range when using internal illumination.

Vision-guided motion controller is small
Guidance 1400 series, a line of 44 Ã? 83 Ã? 133-mm, vision-guided multiaxis motion controllers based on a distributed network architecture, allows the controller to be located at the point of use. Each Guidance 1400 controller contains four motor drivers, encoder input channels, a 700 MIPS processor, digital inputs and outputs, Ethernet, and RS-232 interfaces. It can output motor bus voltages from 24 to 48 Vdc and up to 500 W of total motor power.

Stages travel to 24 inches
Linear translation stages, with travel track distances as long as 24 inches, use rack-and-pinion positioning with accuracy of 0.01 in. and are designed to allow easy integration of standard English-unit positioning equipment. The TECHSPEC stages come in single- and dual-knob versions, with the stage measuring 2.45 Ã? 2.36 Ã? 1.18 in. Mounting screws and Allen wrenches for the tension and mounting screws are provided with the tracks and stages.

Frame grabber is multipurpose
DT3120 PCI frame grabber is designed for industrial, scientific, and medical imaging applications. It enables the acquisition of a standard monochrome, composite color, or S-video color image from a single camera. When combined with the company's GLOBAL LAB Image/2 application software, a graphical software package for creating scientific and general-purpose imaging applications quickly and easily, it creates a high-performance image-analysis system.

Compact spectroradiometers are modular, flexible
FD-1840 series of modular, high-performance NIST-traceable spectroradiometers contains two models based on different spectrometers. Both are complete plug-and-play systems and include the same versatile spotting scope and software. The FD-1840+ is an economical version for applications covering 380 to1000 nm and contains the Ocean Optics' USB2000+. The FD-1840QE incorporates the Ocean Optics' QE65000 with increased sensitivity and a wavelength range of 385 to 765 nm.
