A development team at Ohio Northern University is creating a robotic system to compete against a human in the game of air hockey, using technology that can be applied to dynamic bin picking. The system is based on a Kuka robot and Flea2 FireWire camera from Point Grey Research; the team is led by assistant professor of technological studies Adam Stienecker ( www.onu.edu/a+s/techno/robothockey ).
