Once tapped for only the most demanding and resource-rich applications, high-speed imaging is now prevalent in everyday life--in standard sports broadcasts, music videos, TV commercials, and engineering simulations, among other areas.
Following a brief overview of the considerations that differentiate high-speed imaging from other computer vision technologies, this webcast will discuss new technologies that are driving high-speed product development. It will explain the most recent advances in sensors, and discuss the downstream innovations in image manipulation, synchronization, active shuttering and digital streaming that allow high-speed cameras to facilitate new applications. In addition, we’ll discuss advances in post-acquisition processing that enable computational analysis of movement and motion.
