Provided by Point Grey Research, the paper offers an FAQ format that addresses common questions such as changes that have been implemented with USB 3.0 compared to the previous specification; power and bandwidth availability; the difference between the current USB 3.0, or “SuperSpeed,” control protocol and the USB3 Vision camera control protocol under development; and specification comparison data across interfaces including FireWire-b, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and Camera Link.
