What’s new at your company/tell me a bit about your company?

Integro Technologies—a member of the AIA, RIA, and MCMA—is a full service 3D and 2D machine vision solution provider providing fully automated turnkey inspection cells with supporting operations, onsite support, consulting, system retrofits, upgrades, and machine vision related hardware internationally. We have seen sustained growth since 2009 to date of 638%. With the increased number of projects and customers, our staff has increased +300% since 2009 to a staff size of 46 employees and growing in 2016.

In 2013, Integro built a new state of the art facility to accommodate larger inspection and robotic cells and the increased number of machines based on customer demand. The company is growing rapidly, and we are continuing to expand our square footage.

Can you tell us about VisionVault and when/why it was developed?

Integro's VisionVault package was created to satisfy customer and FDA requirements, associated with centralized Microsoft Active Directory username and password administration and audit trails of all user activity performed on Cognex In-Sight machine vision sensors related to the manufacturing of medical devices or pharmaceutical products.

The system also provides multi-user functionality levels and supports RFID badges, thereby reducing data entry and improving the speed of system access. All access and production data (user login/out, tool parameters, tolerances, IO settings, etc.) is captured and stored within a SQL database and can be queried from any terminal via an Internet browser with sufficient user credentials as pre-defined by the administrator. User access can be restricted by camera, cell, production line, or other criteria/model.

The capability to control user access and functionality permits enforcement of employee training requirements for mission critical machine vision applications/solutions.

VisionVault has been very well received at customers with large Cognex In-Sight install bases for plant wide administration, maintenance, and data collection. Automotive plants that have hundreds of cameras that are required to sustain production rates can sleep easier knowing access is being monitored and centrally managed and that a single disgruntled employee cannot stop your production line by simply changing device passwords.
