Coaxlink Octo, an 8-connection CXP-6 frame grabber, is the latest member of the Coaxlink series of CoaXPressframe grabbers from Euresys, will be on display at the company’s booth at The Vision Show 2018. Coaxlink Octo enables a camera data transfer rate of 5 GByte/s and comes with a PCIe Gen 3 x8 bus, offering a peak delivery bandwidth of 7.8 GBytes/s and an effective delivery bandwidth of 6.7 GByte/s. The main target for the frame grabber, according to Euresys, is multi-camera applications, as it supports up to eight CoaXPress cameras on a single frame grabber/single slot. Additionally, the frame grabber is compatible with the Memento Event Logging Tool from Euresys.
