At The Vision Show 2018, Leoni Engineering Products and Services Inc. will offer attendees a chance to "play" with a deep learning application at its booth. Leoni’s Vision Solutions team integrates deep learning with machine vision systems to solve the most complex quality and process issues by allowing the computer to find subjective defects not otherwise detectable by traditional methods, according to the company.

As part of the demonstration, Leoni simplified an application in which it taught a computer "in the same manner a child learns to recognize and sort blocks," and will offer attendees the chance to explore this functionality themselves.

The Vision Show 2018 booth number: 935
