LUCID Vision Labs adds distributor for Americas

LUCID Vision Labs has announced Aegis Electronic Group, Inc., a distributor and technical support provider of industrial cameras, components and modified integrated system solutions, as its new Sales Partner to distribute LUCID’s products in North, Central and South America.

For more than 25 years, Aegis has Aegis has specialized in the distribution, integration and support of imaging solutions for machine vision, medical, video conferencing, and other applications. Aegis offers a diverse selection of GigE Vision and USB3 Vision industrial cameras and components.

"The Americas region is a key market for LUCID and we’re pleased to work with Aegis as our new Sales Partner to increase our local footprint and provide customers with innovative GigE Vision camera technologies that meet their vision requirements."

The PHX120S and PHX089S GigE Vision Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras (pictured) from LUCID Vision Labs recently went into series production. The PHX120S features the 12.3 MPixel Sony IMX304 CMOS image sensor, which achieves a frame rate of 10 fps. The PHX089S features the 8.9 MPixel Sony IMX267 CMOS image sensor, which reaches a top frame rate of 13.7 fps.

Both models feature a 3.45 µm pixel size and a unique transformable design that can be configured to meet a range of OEM applications. Its board layout can be tri-folded into a stacked camera, or it can be unfolded into 90 or 180-degree orientations for a custom fit. Additionally, the GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam 3 compliant cameras are supported by LUCID’s Arena software development kit and offer Hirose’s ix Industrial Ethernet connector, which is 70% smaller than a traditional RJ45 connector.
