Targeting machine vision and vision-guided robotics applications, IMPACT software version 12.0 from Datalogic features a number of enhancements and tools, including the ability to more easily locate objects, compile and format data, and communicate that data to other databases, according to the company.
One new feature is the Pattern Find Tool for vision-guided robotics. Supported by Datalogic MX-E and MX-U vision processors, this tool enables users to set up the location of an object in just a few steps using the IMPACT interface. Other improvements include enhanced calibration, enhanced string builder, and a new data archiving tool.
