High-speed machine vision camera from Vision Research to be shown at VISION 2018

At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany; Vision Research will have its S990 high-speed streaming camera on display.

At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany; Vision Research will have its S990high-speed streaming cameraon display.Designed for use in machine vision applications, the camera offers direct data transfer speeds up to 8Gpx/second to capture 938 fps at full 4096 x 2304 resolution. The camera features a 9.4 MPixel CMOS image sensor in color or monochrome with a 6.75 µm pixel size, 12-bit or 8-bit data transfer, and rolling, global, and bright field shutter selection. Using up to 16 standard CoaXPress (CXP6) channels, the S990 is compliant with GenICam and streams directly into PCI Express frame grabbers while also featuring a general-purpose input/output (GPIO) for fast, flexible signaling and synchronization, according to the company.
