At VISION 2018in Stuttgart, Germany, Basler will present its latest machine vision products, including various ace camera models—one of which is a new camera that was developed as a 1:1 replacement for Sony's discontinued CCD sensor ICX618. Additionally, Basler will introduce four 20 MPixel ace U models based on the Sony Pregius IMX138 CMOS image sensor.
Also on display at the booth will be Basler’s Embedded Vision Development Kit, which consists of Qualcomm's ARM-based SoC with integrated ISP (Image Signal Processor), the Snapdragon 820, the Basler dart 5MPixel camera module with BCON for MIPI interface, and the pylon Camera Software Suite for Linux operating system.
Basler will also offer a live presentation based on the embedded vision kit and the company’s Time of Flight 3D camera, as well as new concepts in machine vision lighting.
