Designed to withstand extreme temperatures from -40°F to 140°F, Pleora’s new products for GigE Vision and USB3 Vision video connectivity can be deployed in harsh environments. Industrial grade iPORT NTx-GigE Embedded Hardware for GigE Vision connectivity enables manufacturers to integrate GigE Vision 2.0 video connectivity into imaging systems operating in the aforementioned temperature range. The 37 mm x 37 mm x 28 mm hardware can be embedded into small-body cameras, flat-panel imaging devices, and X-ray detectors.

In addition, Pleora’s iPORT CL-U3 and iPORT HDSDI-U3 external frame grabbers allow manufacturers to leverage the high-bandwidth, ubiquitous computing support, and plug-and-play cabling of USB3 Vision for imaging systems operating in the same temperature range. The iPORT CL-U3 (pictured) transmits video from Base and Medium configuration Camera Link cameras with low, predictable latency over a USB 3.0 link, while the and iPORT HDSDI-U3 converts images from HD-SDI and SD-SDI cameras, video processors, and systems into uncompressed USB3 Vision video.
