NorPix has announced the release of its StreamPix Web Streamer, which enables the streaming of machine vision camera feeds to the web. The Web Streamer enables the streaming of up to HD resolution for more than one camera and provides accelerated H.264 compression using either CPU or GPU. In addition, users can reduce the image size or frame rate to reduce bandwidth and bit rate. Users can view the stream in an iOS or Android device browser, as well as on VLC media player on desktop.
