MVTec Software GmbH, Munich (Germany) now has launched the release 9.0.1 for all HALCON users with important innovations free of charge.
HALCON 9.0.1 now provides a silent installer. This tool makes it possible to install the HALCON runtime version under Windows without any user interaction. Thus, the silent installer is predestined to automatically roll out HALCON-based application software on many computers or machines and helps HALCON customer to save costs. E.g, the silent installer significantly eases the remote maintenance of machines if their software must be updated.
With release 9.0.1, the new 3D visualization mode is accessible within HALCON's integrated development environment HDevelop. This mode is especially suited for interactively inspecting of distance images.
