Next year, Vision Systems Design will celebrate its 20th anniversary as a global source of information focused exclusively on imaging and machine vision.
As part of a forthcoming editorial series entitled "Vision 20/20," we will seek the opinions of industry experts to obtain a consensus on where the industry is headed in the next two decades. Vision 20/20 will be a series of articles, both in the magazine and online, that will look back at imaging and machine vision throughout the past 20 years and look at forthcoming developments. As part of the series, we will present the opinion of both the R&D community and select vendors.
To do so, we are seeking professionals on the cutting edge of machine vision and image processing technologies. If you are a researcher, academic or other professional involved in new and emerging technologies, or are involved in the advancement of leading edge technologies such as vision-guided robotics, 3D imaging, machine vision software, high-speed imaging and embedded vision —then we want to hear from you.
