Featuring an uncooled VOx microbolometer focal plane array, the Viento 320 infrared camera specifically targets machine vision and research-related thermal imaging applications. The camera features a 640 x 480 or 320 x 240 pixel sensor with a 17 µm x 17 µm pixel size and has user-selectable NTSC or PAL analog video and simultaneous 14-bit/8-bit Camera Link digital video outputs. Viento 320 cameras feature multiple automatic gain control modes, proprietary image contrast enhancement, and an integrated normalization shutter. In addition, the cameras are available with nine different lens options and feature camera control via RS-232 or USB. The cameras—which are available in 60 Hz and 9 Hz models—are suitable for use in such applications as process monitoring, industrial imaging, robotics guidance, perimeter security, surveillance, unmanned vehicle imaging, and traffic management.
