Radiant Zemax launches ProMetric Y series of compact imaging photometers
Radiant Zemax has announced the launch of the ProMetric Y line of imaging photometers, which are optimized for use in high volume production environments. The camera systems are available in 16 MPixel and 29 MPixel models, both of which feature cooled interline CCD sensors with electronic shutter and 12-bit dynamic range. In addition, the cameras are available with 35 mm, 50 mm, and 100 mm macro lenses. The cameras—which feature USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and Ethernet interfaces—can be paired with Radiant Zemax’s TrueTest analysis software to provide a factory test solution for measuring brightness, gauging uniformity, and detecting defects and surface flaws in flat panel displays, illuminated keyboards, instrument panels, and other products.
