Line scan imaging technologies serve a variety of machine vision applications and tasks, including web inspection, high-speed inspection, and capturing images of large objects. Though line scan technology has existed for some time, the technology has evolved in recent years.
During a free webcast on July 31, Rex Lee, Ph.D., CEO and President of Pyramid Imaging, Inc., will discuss the state of line scan imaging technology, including the latest products, capabilities, and applications. Topics covered during the discussion will include longer linear array formats, multistage TDI line scan cameras, multiline polarization line scan cameras, and multispectral line scan cameras. He will also discuss how line scan cameras can couple with 3D sensors to generate an image as well as 3D depth data, simultaneously.
The webcast, sponsored by Hamamatsu Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. and Chromasens, will conclude with a Q&A period.
