Edmund Optics showing new CA lens series at SPIE Photonics West 2019

Edmund Optics will show three families of lenses at SPIE Photonics West 2019, the Liquid Lens M12 imaging lens series, the Cr fixed focal length lens series, and the brand-new TECHSPEC CA fixed focal length lens series.

Edmund Optics will show three families of lenses at SPIE Photonics West 2019, the Liquid Lens M12 imaging lens series, the Cr fixed focal length lens series, and the brand-new TECHSPEC CA fixed focal length lens series.

The TECHSPEC CA (Compact AP) series of lenses are designed for high resolution large format sensors. APS-C format sensors are covered with a 28 mm diagonal image circle. The new CA lenses feature a TFL mount that features a M35 x 0.75 thread with a 17.5 mm flange distance.

The Liquid Lens M12 imaging lens series features an f/2.4 optical design with an integrated liquid lens and incorporates a two-piece housing design. The liquid lens can be rotated 180° to access the lens control cable.

The Cr fixed focal length series are ruggedized to resist shock and vibration while maintaining optical pointing and positioning. Individual lens elements are glued in place and the Cr series lenses feature a locking C-mount clamp.
