The goal: Quantify an athlete’s precise movement to know how it can impact performance and minimize injuries. The Joe Gibbs Human Performance Institute facility utilizes nearly 50 industrial cameras from Baumer to record 2D video and transmit the resulting video data. With the camera’s onboard JPEG image compression, processing time of this data is lowered from 15 hours to just a few seconds.
