The formerVDS Vosskühler (Osnabrück, Germany) has now been incorporated as a branch office of Allied Vision Technologies (AVT; Stadtroda, Germany). VDS Vosskühler cameras will be integrated into the AVT product range under the AVT brand.
Sales of cameras designed and manufactured in Osnabrück will be taken over by AVT's global sales organization. Former VDS Vosskühler products will be rebranded and integrated into AVT’s camera range. The revamped product lineup will be introduced publicly at theVISION 2011 show and exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany (Nov. 8-10, 2011), which will also be the kickoff of the new sales organization.
The Osnabrück facilities and staff continue to be maintained and expansion is planned. “With the acquisition of VDS Vosskühler, Allied Vision Technologies has gained a deep knowledge in specific camera technologies such asinfrared and high-speed imaging. Our goal is to build on this solid basis and expand our business in these areas,” says AVT president and CEO Frank Grube.
