    The Bobcat-640-GigE is a shortwave-infrared (SWIR) InGaAs-sensor-based camera with low noise and dark current. The camera features on-board image processing, a GigE Vision interface, and Thermo Electric (TE1) stabilization, and is available with a VisNIR option offering a spectral response from 0.4 to 1.7 µm, extending wavelengths into the visible spectrum for sensitivity in low-light imaging applications. The infrared camera reaches frame rates of 100 Hz at full resolution of 640 x 512 pixels. In windowing mode the frame rate can be further increased.

    Bobcat-640-GigE: Low noise and dark current InGaAs camera

    Smallest SWIR InGaAs camera with low noise and dark current.

    The Bobcat-640-GigE is the smallest SWIR GigE camera with low noise and dark current on the market. Due to its small form factor and small GigE Vision interface it is a very compact and easy to integrate SWIR InGaAs camera with on-board image processing and Thermo Electric (TE1) stabilization. This makes it possible to reach very low noise and dark current levels which results in an excellent image quality.

    Available with VisNIR option giving a spectral response from 0.4 µm up to 1.7 µm.

    Overview
    The ultra-compact Bobcat-640-GigE meets machine vision system designers who need high sensitivity in the SWIR range for specialized quality inspection and high temperature process control.

    The industry-standard GigE Vision interface and small form factor reduces cost and increases the ease of integration. Furthermore the pixel pitch of 20 µm makes the Bobcat-640-GigE compatible with a broader range of C-mount lenses and other lower-cost lenses.

    The Bobcat-640-GigE comes as a complete camera with on-board image processing and Thermo Electric cooling for low dark current and optimized noise performance (90e-), all resulting in superior image quality. A VisNIR option extends the wavelength into the visible realm for best sensitivity in low-light applications. The Bobcat-640GigE reaches high frame rates of 100 Hz in full resolution of 640 x 512. In windowing the frame rate can be further increased.
