Building on its line of Ensenso 3D cameras, IDS Imaging Development Systems has announced the release of the Ensenso N20, which is a stereo 3D camera equipped with two 1/1.8" global shutter 1.3 MPixel CMOS image sensors. Ensenso N20 cameras have a GigE interface, blue LEDs, Power over Ethernet, an interface to MVTec’s HALCON image processing library, as well as a software development kit, which is optimized for robot vision applications and allows the integration of uEye cameras with USB 2.0, USB 3.0, or GigE connections. With the SDK, software-controlled subsampling and binning, as well as hand-eye calibration, are possible. In addition, Ensenso N20 cameras are pre-calibrated and ready for immediate use in such applications as bin picking and other industrial applications.
